At ARCHANGEL by Shimz, every order is prepared and dispatched with the utmost care from our London atelier. We take great pride in ensuring your jewellery arrives safely and in perfect condition, presented as befits a piece of this calibre.
All orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation, Monday to Friday (excluding UK bank and public holidays). A signature is required upon delivery for all shipments — we are unable to authorise deliveries without a signature, as this protects the security of your order.
We offer three tiers of domestic delivery, all fully tracked and insured, to ensure your piece reaches you in the manner it deserves.
Standard Delivery
3–5 business days — Royal Mail Tracked / DPD
£25, or FREE on orders over £500
Your order is dispatched via Royal Mail Tracked or DPD, depending on parcel size and destination. A tracking number is provided by email upon dispatch. Delivery is to your specified address; a signature is required.
Express Delivery
1–2 business days — DPD Next Day
£45
Orders placed before 12:00 noon GMT on a business day will be dispatched the same day for next-business-day delivery via DPD. Orders placed after 12:00 noon or on a non-business day will be dispatched the following business day.
White Glove Service
Scheduled personal courier delivery — Personal Courier & Presentation
£150 — UK mainland only
Our premium White Glove Service provides a personal courier experience. A member of our team will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery window. Your jewellery will be presented to you personally, in its bespoke packaging. Available on the UK mainland only.
ARCHANGEL by Shimz ships to more than 30 countries worldwide. International orders are dispatched via a fully tracked and insured courier service. Estimated delivery times are typically 5–14 business days from the date of dispatch, depending on the destination country and local customs procedures.
International shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the destination country and the weight and dimensions of your order. You will see the precise shipping cost before completing your purchase.
Please note: International customers are solely responsible for any import duties, customs fees, VAT or other taxes levied by their country. These charges are not included in the order total or shipping fee and will be collected by the carrier or customs authority upon arrival. ARCHANGEL by Shimz has no control over these charges and is not responsible for any delays caused by customs clearance.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to the carrier’s tracking portal. You can use this information to monitor the progress of your delivery in real time.
If you have not received your dispatch confirmation within 3 business days of placing your order, or if you experience any difficulty tracking your parcel, please contact us at hello@archangeljewellery.com and we will assist you promptly.
Every ARCHANGEL by Shimz order is fully insured for its full retail value during transit. In the unlikely event that your parcel is damaged or lost in transit, you are fully protected.
A signature is required upon delivery for all shipments. This is a condition of our insurance and cannot be waived. Please ensure someone is available to receive and sign for your order at the delivery address.
Your jewellery is presented in our signature bespoke velvet presentation box, sealed with a satin ribbon, and enclosed within a secure outer carton appropriate to the method of shipment. The packaging is designed to protect your piece whilst reflecting the luxury nature of your purchase.
If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery window, we ask that you first check your tracking information and, where applicable, check with neighbours or your local sorting office, as a delivery attempt may have been made in your absence.
If your parcel remains unaccounted for, please contact us within 14 days of the dispatch date. We will open an investigation with the carrier on your behalf. Depending on the outcome of the investigation, we will offer either a replacement or a full refund.
Please note: claims reported more than 14 days after the dispatch date may not be eligible for a full investigation with the carrier, which could limit our ability to offer a resolution. We strongly encourage prompt reporting of any delivery concerns.
It is the customer’s sole responsibility to provide a correct and complete delivery address at the time of ordering. Please double-check your delivery address carefully before confirming your purchase — once an order has been dispatched, we are unable to redirect it.
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, failed delivery attempts, or the recipient being unavailable, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. A re-delivery fee equivalent to the original shipping charge may apply. We are unable to refund original shipping costs in such circumstances.
For orders delivered outside the United Kingdom, the recipient is responsible for all import duties, customs taxes, VAT and any other fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are entirely outside our control and vary by country, product type and declared value.
ARCHANGEL by Shimz is not responsible for any additional charges levied by customs authorities, nor for any delays to your delivery caused by customs clearance processes. We are legally required to accurately declare the value and contents of all shipments on customs documentation — we are unable to mark goods as “gifts” or understate values.
We recommend that international customers familiarise themselves with their country’s import regulations before placing an order.
Our atelier operates Monday to Friday. No orders are dispatched on UK bank or public holidays. Orders placed on a UK bank holiday, or on a weekend, will be processed and dispatched on the next available working day.
During peak periods — such as Christmas, Valentine’s Day and other notable dates — dispatch times may be slightly extended. We will endeavour to communicate any changes to our standard timelines on the website and via email. We strongly recommend ordering in advance of any important occasions.
